Series: Colossians
In our current Sunday School study, we are working through the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Colossians. The apostle opens his epistle with a note of praise for the faith, hope, and love of the believers in the city of Colossae. However, it becomes clear as he progresses through the letter, that he is concerned for these Christians because a dangerous false teaching was threatening to lead them off course. Against such a heresy that diminished the work of the Lord, Paul reaffirms the deity of Christ, the centrality of the gospel, and the need for God’s grace.
